Performative 03 is the 3rd edition of the international festival of art, dance, music and theatre performance of the Museum MAXXI L’Aquila.
During the festival, Numero Cromatico held the performance The future is here, somewhere in L’Aquila’s Palazzetto dei Nobili. The piece is part of a broader project that included the artwork The future is here, somewhere for the MAXXIVERSO. The project aims to narrate the future as a mode of perceiving and imagining, as a posture of the human being, as a mode of waiting and reaching out, as something that is formed and transformed in the course of history.
The future is here, somewhere is to be traced back to the research that Numero Cromatico is conducting on the activation of conscious and unconscious cognitive and sensorial processes in the audience, on the integration of artificial intelligences as a tool for art production, and on the use of text as a medium for enhancing the physical and synaesthetic power of words.
