The workshop Resterai con me per tutta la notte involved students from L’Aquila Academy of Fine Arts and took place within the installation by Numero Cromatico carrying the same name in the exhibition Diario Notturno. Di sogni, incubi e bestiari immaginari.
The workshop, divided into three phases, introduced participants to the practices of perceptual alteration, already used by Numero Cromatico over the years, specifically visual deprivation. Next, an unusual exploration of the work Resterai con me per tutta la notte and the Sala della Voliera was conducted in visual deprivation. Finally, the participants worked together on blind drawing practices, whose subjects were the shapes in the work by Numero Cromatico.
On the one hand, the workshop brought the students closer to the research of Numero Cromatico and, on the other hand, provided the opportunity to experience and translate the relationship with the artwork through unconventional practices.
