The future will not wait for us ovvero Il futuro non ci aspetta is a solo show by Numero Cromatico at the T293 Gallery in Rome.

Numero Cromatico brings to the gallery an unprecedented project that delves into some of its latest, crucial research topics – being the relationship between the natural and the artificial; the construction of enriched spaces; the activation of a critical relationship between the viewer and the artwork, between the viewer and their inner world. 

Numero Cromatico displays a body of large-scale artworks from the series Tulipani – visual twines of image and text, created using algorithms and artificial intelligence and made from free-to-move tiles. The past and the future, traditional materials and techniques, are brought to a new life and offer themselves as the starting point for a reflection on who we are and who will be tomorrow.
