Numero Cromatico hosted, in its studio, Sclera, a lecture-performance by Antonio Ianniello.
The project poses important questions about our perceptual mechanisms and humans as social animals. Ianniello explains: “Seeing is never a solitary exercise produced by an isolated mind. I believe that through a tropism the human evolutionary parabola is undergoing a revolution: the perceptual isolation from which we have escaped is reappearing in the form of individualism as favoured by the political and economic forms typical of neo-liberalism. The outcome is the same: we are alone”.
