Dove tutto inizia is the exhibition that opens Numero Cromatico’s project room at Palazzo Brancaccio, Roma. The project consists of an installation of artworks from the Sempre vivi (2021–ongoing) series, mosaics made of Limonium Sinuatum flower – also called in Italian “sempre vivi” – that report texts generated with the help of an artificial intelligence instructed by the artist called P.O.E. (acronym for Poetry Of the End), an AI capable of generating memorial texts as well as texts on the end.

The exhibition is part of a collective investigation into the mechanisms of perception and how these can be manipulated and stimulated through artistic devices.

The installation is presented as a constellation, fragments of a single poetic text, with the intention of stimulating the observer to construct multiple semantic interpretations.
