On the occasion of the International Women’s Day celebrations, Numero Cromatico has been invited by Spazio Taverna and Campari Group to take part in the event organized at Galleria Campari in Milan.

Two projects have been proght to the event: one is the artwork 44 strange shapes; the other was Somnium, which involved over 200 company employee in a “collective oneiric performance.”

The artwork 44 strange shapes, a curtain made up of thousands of small plastic tiles, presents, as the name suggests, 44 ambiguous shapes. Although these do not represent living beings found in nature, they present elements that bring to the viewer’s memory fantastic figures, animals, monsters, masks, and plants. They are non-explicit images, created by the artist without the intention of offering a single interpretation to the viewer.
